She's going to get some earrings once I find the right ones, and a custom outfit (she's wearing a rare Babs outfit from a few years back). Her eye makeup is airbrushed. I masked her entire face, cut out the design, and airbrushed it *very carefully*. Because I don't like airbrushing I'm forcing myself to do it more. Once she's completely done, I'm selling her for charity (Foster Parrots).

We went to a Zoo this past weekend which had lots of beautiful parrots in large habitats, which is nice, but then they had a bird show, the point of which was 'parrots make great pets. why don't you go get one?' which is horrible. I love my parrot, but he needs huge amounts of attention, is really noisy, and lives a very long time. If you don't play with a dog or a cat, they can generally do their own thing. Leave a bird in a cage and.... they'll go crazy. But anyway, Foster Parrots is a local bird sanctuary for the massive amounts of birds people buy, realize what they got into, and then get rid of. Before or after the bird starts self-mutilating.

I realized I never posted it but Chapter 79 is up

I also spent an hour or so tonight fixing the Pullip Wikipedia pages again. I haven't looked at them in months. It showed. The Valley of the dolls and Pullip Style had their stock pages linked as 'galleries', Magma Heritage was up to his usual 'Official Distributor' shenanigans, someone had their own personal LJ linked off the bottom. So I got rid of the different store politics. Yes, Haute Doll, we know you have a limited. We're even letting you talk about how you're the first USA limited. What we are not doing is including your magazine as official pullip literature since it's been in plenty of other doll magazines. Madison will probably have another hissy fit and go on a deleting frenzy again because I renamed his link 'Magma Heritage Shop'

Wikipedia is supposed to be written in an impartial manner, right? Aside from all the store politics, there was also lots of fun comments that made it pretty obvious what certain people felt about certain things, like different body types. (Last time it was 2 people arguing about who was better, Namu or Taeyahg.) Yeah, got rid of those.

Another thing, that was really, REALLY confusing, was that my page was removed from the end links, but referenced multiple times in the body of the article. I appreciate the sentiment, but outside links go at the bottom. While I was at it, I also sorted the exterior links into sections, like official pages, unofficial pages, communities, and dealers. Pullip is the only wiki article I've visited that has stores advertising on the external links (as well as in the article, though I kept that to a minimum with my edits). I left it in, but I renamed the links so it's clear that they are selling something and not happy joy fun galleries and official pullip websites. Yeesh.
