Long weekends made longer by extra time off give me more time to do the stuff I want ^^;

Ok, I know the forum has been down for a while. I contacted my webhost, and they said that it was the result of a blackout at their server farm, and please be patient, everything would be back online by Wednesday. As it was still out thursday, I called again, and the tech help person I got that time, aside from not knowing how to spell 'forum', said she would have to forward it on to advanced technical help, and that now I just have to wait.
So, sorry everyone. This sucks.

Ok, I finished making wigs from all the pelts I got. I have been convinced to do a few commissions, but I am only doing them through the website forum (www.requiemart.com/forum), with a maximum of 10 wigs for now.

I've had her a long time, but I bought her because I liked her and wanted to do a monochrome purple doll, but all along I still wanted to do a monochrome purple doll. I can't have 2, they'll be too similar, and I'll never do the other doll so long as I have her.
So: Presale price is $250 'nude' (with an outfit, just not a custom one) or $300 with the EGL outfit, which is black maryjanes, white socks, skirt/blouse set and apron.

No name yet. I used all my good geisha names on pullips, it seems like ^^; I was thinking "red flower" or "red blossom" but the translation doesn't really flow off the tongue IMO. I will almost certainly be selling this one when pictures are done. Unfortunately, she cost over $200 just in materials, and I'm not a 'name brand' customizer for Blythes, so :/

I am doing another fund raiser for Foster Parrots, this time entirely off of EvilBay. Just got back from a couple of days in New York. Our hotel was right around the corner from Hooters, and their sign provided much amusement:

I just found a neat web tool that allowed me to get some old tutorials I had on my previous website that I didn't save (along with everything else on the website) before I let it go defunct. Nice! Thats much less work if I ever have the time to fix them up and put them online again.
On the other hand, it brought up spiffy memories of the reason I let my old website go defunct, namely someone using my tutorials to put up a business overnight, then stealing all my tutorials and deleting every reference she had that she learned everything about what she was doing from my website a couple of months before and using vague terms that made it seem like she had been doing it for like 10 years. Isn't the internet awesome? There's a reason I don't get involved with anyone in fandoms.
